WATCH: Rivaldo and son score in the same game

Updated Mar. 4, 2020 8:45 p.m. ET

Like father, like son.

Playing in their first game together in Brazil's second division, 1999′s World Footballer of the Year Rivaldo and his son Rivaldinho both etched their names into the scorer's list.

Rivaldo, who recently came out of retirement (again) to help Brazilian club Mogi Mirim – for whom he is also the honorary president – stave off relegation, scored from the penalty spot, while Rivaldo Jr. scored the other two goals in a 3-1 win over Macae Esporte.

Assisting on both of 20-year-old Rivaldinho's goals? His 43-year-old dad. Of course!
