Watch: Riyad Mahrez's gorgeous Champions League free kick for Leicester City
Leicester City showed little uncertainty playing on a grand stage for the first time, with Riyad Mahrez starring for the reigning Premier League champions in their Champions League debut.
Riyad Mahrez scored twice after Marc Albrighton netted the club's first Champions League goal ever, with the Algerian extending Leicester's lead at Club Brugge with a wondrous free kick.
Mahrez and Danny Drinkwater stood over a free kick from about 20 yards out in the 29th minute, and Mahrez took his chance, lacing a left-footed blast into the upper left-hand corner of the net to make it 2-0. He later added a goal on a penalty kick after Jamie Vardy drew the spot kick, to put Leicester well on its way to the three-point haul.
