Manchester United fell behind, 1-0. And while they equalized, Chris Smalling was sent off in extra time, leaving the Red Devils down a man and begging for the FA Cup final to go to penalties.
Jesse Lingard was having none of that, though. He saw a match to be won and you're damn right he went out and won it.
DAMN. That's an outright laser.
Scoring when your team is down to 10 men is basically magic. And scoring the winner in extra time at Wembley in an FA Cup final is magical. So Lingard is both magic and magical.
At some point, you have to wonder if Crystal Palace are cursed. They've never won a major trophy and when they scored first, it looked like they might finally break through. When they went up a man, it definitely looked like they would break through. But then Lingard happened.
Now Lingard gets to head into the summer for a couple months off. And he better not pay for a drink the entire time.
