Watch this pitch-invading duck force a match to be delayed

We've seen our share of dogs interrupting soccer games. There was the happy pup that ran into a Copa Sudamericana match this weekend, there was the dog that accidentally blocked a shot, and more examples beyond than we can count.

But this weekend, it was a feathered pitch invader that stopped action in Bulgaria's top flight, and a match between Ludogorets and Lokomotiv Gorna Oryahovitsa had to be suspended temporarily. Watch:

Goalkeeper Nikolay Bankov musters up the courage to try to move the duck, but she is not having it and he thinks twice about getting pecked off the pitch, even though he is wearing protective gloves. That duck found a cozy spot on the field and she was not about to leave just because some human told her to skedaddle.

The best part might be the duck's crash-landing onto the pitch. She slides for a good couple of feet like it's a goal celebration.

A few unsuccessful attempts to remove her later, the duck eventually fled for greener pastures and play continued, where Ludogorets finished with a 4-0 win.
