West Brom fans sing incredible chant poking fun at themselves in loss to Manchester City
West Bromwich Albion were completely obliterated by a vibrant Manchester City on Saturday, but at least their fans were having fun. Despite a 4-0 final scoreline, the Baggies supporters dropped one of the funniest chants we've heard at the Hawthorns.
"We've got the ball, we've got the ball! ... We've lost the ball, we've lost the ball!" The transition there is absolutely perfect. Too bad the same couldn't be said of West Brom's product on the field.
A huge crowd that can harmonize that seamlessly could utilize their powers for evil, but instead they've banded together to bring us something great. You can even hear a bit of a roar of laughter from folks around the stadium when they realize how quickly the chant has changed. And if you can't laugh at yourself, then what can you do?
The singing from the fans was the best part of West Brom's performance, to be sure. Sing on, Baggies fans.
