West Ham goalkeeper scores dazzling solo goal in testimonial match
Goalkeepers are a special, special breed.
They're capable of inducing both affection and hatred from supporters, and, more often than not, can also pull off the spectacular at either end of the pitch, be it in a friendly or competitive fixture.
So, during Mark Noble's testimonial match at Boleyn Ground on Monday, West Ham's Adrian opted to upstage the long-serving midfielder and turn the spotlight onto himself instead.
With the likes of David James, Scott Parker, Teddy Sheringham, Trevor Sinclair, Craig Bellamy, Paolo Di Canio, Cartlon Cole, Rio Ferdinand and Michael Carrick taking part, the Spaniard picked the ball up in his own half en route to taking on the opposition all by his lonesome and slotting home at the other end.

Granted, this is was only a testimonial match, but perhaps Slaven Bilic may want to re-consider his attacking options when the Hammers square off against Crystal Palace on Saturday.
