West Ham sponsor Betway troll Hull City with savage tweet
Hull City’s own players have already made fun of the club for their inability (or straight-up refusal) to find additions to their depleted roster this summer. Now, one of their Premier League rivals’ sponsors is getting in on the fun, too.
Gambling site Betway, who are West Ham United’s kit sponsor, started to roll out “To-do lists” for various Premier League teams on their social media accounts, and came up with a pretty snarky, if not predictable one for Hull:
Hull weren’t too thrilled about the whole thing, and fired back their own to-do list for Betway, who were called out for making fun of West Ham just a few days ago.
You have to applaud the effort from Hull’s social media team here, but Betway still had the last laugh:
Savage.
Hull were only able name 13 senior players for their season opener against Leicester City, but were still able to shock the defending champions in a 2-1 victory. That win might make it easier for the club to stomach these types of jokes at their expense for now. Still, they might want to get active in the transfer market. Oh, and perhaps appoint a new boss. That could also be a swell idea.
Or don’t! We’re always here for more petty Premier League social media wars.

.@HullCity we've got a social media exec who can play centre back going on a free. Should we tell him to bring his boots on Saturday?
