Zlatan Ibrahimovic wants to be the next 'Rambo' and he should be
For the average storied professional sports career, one biopic is the standard.
But Paris St. Germain and Sweden striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has a religious objection to the words "standard" and "average," and he wants TEN biopics. Because, among many other reasons, you can't tell the story of Zlatan with just one.
In a recent interview with Swedish newspaper Dagens Industri about the future of his career-- which he generally refuses to give any finite answers about-- Zlatan said that he'd begun the discussion about bringing his life to the silver screen. The scene: Zlatan is dropped into the wilderness with nothing but a PKM machine gun and a bandana to tie around his head, fighting against the elements, a crooked sheriff, and his band of cronies.
I'm sure he didn't mean a literal adaptation because it'd be like, factually incorrect but, CAN YOU IMAGINE?
Luckily we don't really have to. Remember that wildly dramatic commercial that came out a few years ago wherein he chased a 10-point through a frozen tundra on foot and made us all really want to buy Volvos? Of course you do. Who could forget.
So, that. But 10 whole films' worth.
Take my money.
