Conor McGregor's next fight will be booked soon but until then you can see the UFC featherweight champion in action as part of the new 'Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare' game due out in November.

McGregor filmed scenes for the popular video game franchise just recently and a new trailer was released on Thursday showing the Irishman in action.

McGregor is part of the new game alongside "Game of Thrones" star Kit Harington, who plays the main antagonist in the latest version of the "Call of Duty" series.

McGregor plays Captain Bradley Fillion of the Settlement Defense Front — a faction headed up by Harington's character in the new franchise.

Earlier this week, McGregor tweeted out a photo of his character in the new "Call of Duty" game as well.

"My management rang me and said there was an opportunity to be part of the game. I have played the game for many years," McGregor said about his involvement with the series. "I was addicted to it at one stage for a while and I wasn't training so much as I was playing the game. To get an opportunity to actually take part in the game, I dived at it."

This "Call of Duty" game like many before it features several celebrity cameos with actors like Kevin Spacey making appearances in previous versions, but McGregor is the first mixed martial artist to ever get invited to join the franchise.

That's no surprise to McGregor of course.

"It's certainly an honor to be the first UFC fighter and to be part of such a big franchise," McGregor said. "It's also familiar to me. I am the first of many in the UFC that do many things. I'm happy that this is another feather in my cap.

McGregor enjoyed his time on set filming "Call of Duty" but as much as he liked a switch to video games from competing in the Octagon, his future and passion still lies with fighting.

"It was a once in a lifetime experience for me. I'm grateful that my passion has allowed me to explore these other avenues, they have opened up for me. But I must also remain focused on my passion and my passion is fighting. That is what I'm self-educated in and that is what I excel at so that is where I will stay."

"Call of Duty: Infinity Warfare" drops on XBOX and PS4 on November 4.
