Randy Orton calls Conor McGregor 'Irish guy little person Connor Mcdonald'
WWE legend Randy Orton said that, unlike CM Punk, he wouldn’t try fighting in the UFC unless he was asked to face Conor McGregor.
Not everyone in the WWE enjoyed CM Punk’s debut. Given that he left the company on bad terms, then proceeded to trash everyone in it, you’d imagine that everyone in the WWE enjoyed seeing him get destroyed. But it took lots of courage for Punk to actually step into the Octagon. When current WWE superstar Randy Orton hosted an impromptu Q&A on Twitter recently, he was asked if he would ever try the UFC, and he balked at it:
@RandyOrton would you ever try ufc?

I like making $. Over and over. Not once every 6 months….plus I’d prob fake punch the guy and get choked out. #lol https://t.co/xLXt01bzyf

The Irish superstar famously went on a rant about a month ago when he called everyone in the WWE “pu**ies” and that he would “slap the head off” the roster. That’s when Orton back-pedaled, and said he would fight in the UFC against one specific person:
@RandyOrton could you beat Connor McGregor in a street fight?

The fact that Orton insulted McGregor practically unprovoked is a real testament to his star power. Given how much conflict he has started with the WWE already, a fight against one of their guys might not be out of the question.
