UFC World: MMA agent Audie Attar and serial killer hero Joe Lozito

On this weeks UFC World podcast Gareth A Davies discusses the management of MMA fighters with head of Paradigm Sports Management Audie Attar and MMA super-fan Joe Lozito who disarmed a knife-wielding serial killer on the New York subway. Attar discusses the role he plays in looking after the careers of Michael Bisping, Conor McGregor and Ross Pearson when they are away from the Octagon of training camps.
Lozito, meanwhile, looks back on the day his trip to work turned into a nightmare when a killer with an 8-inch blade sitting opposite him on the subway told him he was about to die. Lozito gives a detailed account of the next few minutes, in which he was stabbed 7 times and how he disarmed the murderer by taking him to the ground. Lozito describes how Dana White and the UFC have treated him with heroic status ever since and how his selfless act that day brought his story to life. His battle for justice afterwards is described in a book he now has out. It is riveting stuff.
