KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Meme Jackson scored 13 points and Rennia Davis returned to Tennessee's lineup Wednesday as the 12th-ranked Lady Volunteers breezed to a 73-46 victory over UNC Asheville.

Davis, Tennessee's top returning scorer and rebounder from last season, had worn a walking boot on her left foot from the bench Sunday while sitting out the Lady Vols' 97-49 victory over Presbyterian. The sophomore forward had 10 points and eight rebounds against UNC Asheville, though she was scoreless until the fourth quarter.

Tennessee (2-0) never trailed and scored the last 13 points of the second quarter to build a 44-16 halftime advantage. The Lady Vols outrebounded UNC Asheville 46-24 and outscored the Bulldogs 27-2 in second-chance points.

Cheridene Green scored 12 points, Evina Westbrook had 11 and Rae Burrell added 10 for Tennessee. Burrell also had eight rebounds.
