No. 21 Oklahoma women defeat Boston College 76-61

FREEPORT, Bahamas (AP) Peyton Little scored 17 points, Vionise Pierre-Louis 15 and No. 21 Oklahoma pulled away in the fourth quarter for a 76-61 victory over Boston College on Saturday night at the Junkanoo Jam.

T'ona Edwards, who had a career-high eight assists, forced a steal and passed to Little for a transition layup and a 45-44 lead. Pierre-Louis followed with a layup at the third-quarter buzzer. The Sooners (5-1) pulled away from there, leading by as many as 20.

Oklahoma turned 17 Eagles turnovers in 22 points and used 11 offensive boards toward a 34-12 advantage in the paint. The Sooners finished with a season-high 24 free throws made on 34 attempts.

The game was tied at halftime at 27-27.

Kelly Hughes led BC with 15 points.

The victory was fourth straight for the Sooners (5-1). The Eagles took their first loss (5-1). The meeting was the first for the two programs.
