LOS ANGELES (AP) Jordin Canada scored 25 points as No. 24 UCLA got up big, then cruised to an easy 82-68 win over Cal State Bakersfield on Saturday.

Canada was 10 of 12 from the floor, including a pair of 3-pointers, and had five assists. Monique Billings had a career-high 19 points with eight rebounds, and Kari Korver added 12 points as the Bruins (4-2) shot over 57 percent overall and 8 of 14 beyond the arc. They were stingy on defense as well, with 10 steals and six blocked shots.

Cal State Bakersfield (1-7) was paced by Erika Williams with 24 points - a career high - on 9-of-16 shooting. Tylinn Carter bested her career high as well with 16 points.

Bakersfield went nearly five minutes in the first quarter without a score as UCLA opened up a 41-19 lead. Williams hit a pair of 3s at the end of the half to draw within 14, but UCLA was just too much.
