Shook scores 14, No. 14 Louisville women coast past BC 68-43 (Feb 12, 2017)

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) Kylee Shook had 14 points and Myisha Hines-Allen had a double-double and No. 12 Louisville rolled to a 68-43 win over Boston College on Sunday.

The Cardinals (22-6, 9-4 ACC) limited the Eagles to two baskets on 16 shots in the first quarter and used a 12-0 run to take a 14-4 lead. Louisville added 7-0 and 8-0 runs in the second quarter to lead 35-16 at the break.

Boston College (9-17, 2-11) missed all 10 of its 3-pointers and shot 24 percent in the first half. The second half wasn't much better and the Eagles finished at 28 percent (16 of 57), 2 of 17 from distance.

Hines-Allen had 10 points and 13 rebounds as the Cardinals had 50 rebounds to 25 for the Eagles. Louisville shot 46 percent (25 of 54) and 12 players scored with 11 getting at least one rebound.

Mariella Fasoula had 11 points and eight rebounds for BC.
