Daniel Winnik of the Washington Capitals took one for the team on Thursday, losing a piece of his ear while blocking a shot by the Florida Panthers' Reilly Smith.
WWE legend Mick Foley, currently the GM of "SmackDown" Live understands what it is like to lose part of your ear while on the job.
Foley was in a match in 1994 with Vader and he suffered an injury costing hjim part of his ear.
