Ric Flair Appears on ESPN's College GameDay as Guest Picker (Video)

Ric Flair made an appearance on ESPN’s College GameDay on Saturday morning.

Ric Flair’s wrestling career has been over for a while now. His post-in-ring life has seen him start a podcast, be Charlotte’s manager, and show up at a handful of colleges. Remember how he said he “can’t stand” Ohio State?

On Saturday afternoon, Flair would make his latest college stop in Madison, WI for No. 2 Ohio State vs. No. 8 Wisconsin. This time, he did it as a guest picker on ESPN’s College GameDay show. This program heads to a different location every Saturday for the top college football game of the day. At the end of the show, they pick all of the games on the docket, with a celebrity guest picker included on the panel of analysts.

The Nature Boy became the latest one to select games on Saturday. First, if you want to hear him say “WOOOO” on repeat, see this clip below:

Then, there was this sign:

Typical Nature Boy. He would end up picking Wisconsin over Ohio State.

Flair didn’t really offer any analysis with his picks, and just said the team’s name that he thought would win. He’s still arguably one of the best guest pickers College GameDay has had this season, though.

This went better than Flair’s recent podcast where he said award-winning actress, Halle Berry went on “Space Mountain”. This drew national headlines, and even drew a response from Berry who denied the claim. No mention of “Space Mountain” got mentioned during College GameDay, which is a win for us all.

Where Ric Flair appears next remains to be seen. He’s no longer on WWE programming after Charlotte split from him, so we may not see him until WrestleMania season.
