USC Trojans to face Ohio State Buckeyes in Cotton Bowl on Dec. 29
The Cotton Bowl got itself an excellent postseason matchup.
USC (11-2), the champions of the Pac-12, will face Ohio State (11-2), the champs of the Big Ten, on Dec. 29 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

The Trojans and Buckeyes have a rivalry which made its bones back to the 1970s, when the two teams met three times (1973-75) at the legendary Rose Bowl Game. Those classic games featured the likes of Archie Griffin & Woody Hayes on one side with OJ Simpson & John McKay on the other.

The two teams last played early in the 2009 season, when the Trojans won 18-15 at Ohio Stadium.
