Hits 20-point mark once again Carrington closed Saturday's 81-73 victory over North Carolina State with 23 points (8-15 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 3-4 FT), five rebounds and six assists across 39 minutes.
Impact Carrington is expected to play a prominent role for the Panthers during the ACC Tournament, and he certainly ended the regular season in style, posting double-digit points in four straight games while reaching the 20-point mark for the fourth time as well. Carrington should play a massive role for Pittsburgh in the upcoming ACC Tournament.

Impact Carrington was one of Pittsburgh's best players in a low-scoring affair, and while he struggled badly from three-point range, he still posted a decent stat line on both ends of the court. Carrington has been playing well of late and has scored in double digits in five of his last six appearances.

Impact What a debut for the four-star freshman out of Baltimore. It certainly wasn't the toughest competition that Pitt will face all year, but we don't see a whole lot of triple-doubles at the college level. Carrington appeared to take a lot of the primary ball-handling duties from Ishmael Leggett, which will only increase the freshman's value. We'll see what Carrington is able to do over these next three games against Binghamton, Florida Gulf Coast, and Jacksonville.
