Coleman Crow - Dismissed from big-league camp
The Brewers optioned Crow to Triple-A Nashville on Sunday, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
Impact
Crow will likely be in line for a full-time stay in the Nashville rotation in 2026 after he made all but two of his starts last season at Double-A Biloxi, with whom he submitted a 2.51 ERA, 0.91 WHIP and 52:8 K:BB in 43 innings. The 25-year-old right-hander was added to the Brewers' 40-man roster over the winter, but he's buried on the organizational starting pitching depth chart and is unlikely to be in store for an extended stay in Milwaukee at any point during the upcoming season.

Jackson Chourio - Could return Monday
Team Venezuela manager Omar Lopez told reporters Saturday that Chourio (hand) should be in the lineup for Monday's World Baseball Classic game against Nicaragua, Kevin Barral of Fi...
Impact
Chourio has been out of Venezuela's lineup for each of the last two games while nursing a left hand injury that he suffered in an exhibition game Wednesday when he was hit by a pitch. The good news for Chourio is that the injury isn't considered a long-term concern, and the 21-year-old should be back in the lineup for Monday's WBC contest.

Brandon Woodruff - Starting Saturday
Woodruff (lat) will start for the Brewers in Saturday's Cactus League game against the Guardians.
Impact
Woodruff ended the 2025 season on the 15-day injured list due to a right lat strain. He was limited to mound work and live batting practices to open spring training, and the 33-year-old right-hander is ready to take the next step by pitching in Grapefruit League action Saturday. It's a positive sign that Woodruff will be on the Brewers' Opening Day roster.

Chad Patrick - Confirmed to be part of rotation
Brewers manager Pat Murphy said Friday that Patrick will be in the rotation, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
Impact
Milwaukee has a plethora of starting pitching options, but Patrick is a lock to open the season in the rotation. The 27-year-old is coming off a strong 2025 season, where he posted a 3.53 ERA, a 1.28 WHIP and a 127:40 K:BB across 119.2 innings. Murphy also confirmed Jacob Misiorowski will have a spot in the rotation, but the rest is up in the air at this point. With Brandon Woodruff (lat) and Quinn Priester (wrist) not guaranteed to be ready for Opening Day, Patrick may even have a shot at being the Brewers' Opening Day starter.

Brandon Lockridge - In lineup Friday
Lockridge (shoulder) will play right field and bat second in Friday's spring training game against Arizona.
Impact
Lockridge sustained a bruised rotator cuff early in spring training after diving back into the bag. However, the soon-to-be 29-year-old has been cleared to return to the lineup for Friday's contest. Before suffering the injury, Lockridge went 6-for-11 with a pair of home runs and a stolen base.

Robert Gasser - Goes 2.2 frames Thursday
Gasser allowed three earned runs over 2.2 innings in Thursday's spring game against the Rockies. He gave up three hits, struck out two batters and walked three.
Impact
Gasser was not particularly sharp Thursday, but he did up the pitch count to 53 after tossing 11 pitches in his spring debut over a week ago. An elbow injury limited Gasser to just two regular-season appearances in 2025, but he finished the season healthy and has stayed so since. He is in the mix with a host of other pitchers competing for spots in Milwaukee's starting rotation.

Jake Bauers - Locked in this spring
Bauers is 6-for-11 (.545) with a home run, a double, two RBI, two steals and a 1:3 BB:K through four games this spring.
Impact
Bauers has tallied at least one hit in all four contests he has appeared in and has made a couple marks in both the power and speed departments. Bauers can cover both first base and a corner outfield spot, and he is slated to open the season in a reserve role for the Brewers.

Garrett Mitchell - Shines in spring game
Mitchell went 2-for-3 with a home run, a double, four RBI and a walk in Thursday's spring game against the Rockies.
Impact
Mitchell had recorded only five plate appearances all spring prior to Thursday, but he showed no signs of rust, opening the contest with a homer and reaching twice afterward. Health has always been the biggest question for Mitchell, who did not take the field after April last year due to a shoulder injury that ultimately required surgery. He is healthy now, and if he remains so he is slated to open the season as the primary option in center field for the Brewers.

Jackson Chourio - Nursing hand injury
Chourio is out of the lineup for Venezuela's World Baseball Classic game against the Netherlands on Friday due to a left hand injury, Daniel Alvarez-Montes of ElExtraBase.com.
Impact
The 21-year-old was hit by a pitch on the left hand during Wednesday's exhibition game and won't start Friday, but he's expected to be available to pinch run and play defense after X-rays came back negative, per Alvarez-Montes. The injury doesn't appear to be a serious concern, but it's unclear if Chourio will be cleared to rejoin the lineup for Saturday's matchup with Israel.
