Impact Wooten ended the 2023 season on injured reserve with an ankle injury, but he's now fully recovered and participating at training camp. The 25-year-old will compete with the likes of Trevin Wallace and Claudin Cherelus for an active roster spot at interior linebacker this season.

Suffers ankle injury Wooten suffered an ankle injury during Sunday's loss to the Colts, Augusta Stone of the Panthers' official site reports.
Impact Wooten was ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's matchup in the closing minutes after he recorded a tackle and recovered a fumble on special teams in the first half. Whether he'll be available for Thursday's game against the Bears remains to be seen.
