NC State Basketball Staff Contacts Nation's Most Prolific Sharpshooter NC State basketball is one of several potential suitors for high-scoring Monmouth guard Abdi Bashir.
Hits portal, NBA Draft Bashir will enter the transfer portal while also entering his name into the 2025 NBA Draft, per Joe Tipton of On3.com.
Impact Bashir is coming off a monumental season with Monmouth, averaging 20.1 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.2 assists while shooting over 38 percent from distance as the national leader in three-pointers made (127). At 6-foot-7, the wing has great size as well, which should intrigue NBA teams. However, he'll also keep his options open at the collegiate level, where he should be able to capitalize on his breakout year to the tune of a high-major scholarship and hefty NIL compensation.
