Impact While coach Scott Drew initially said that he expected Flagler to play Saturday, the junior will likely need to test his left hand injury during pregame warmups. If he's unable to take the court, LJ Cryer and Dale Bonner should see increased usage for Baylor.

Impact Flagler sat out the entire second half of Wednesday's game against Central Arkansas due to a left-hand injury, however, head coach Scott Drew said the move was just out of caution. The 6-3 junior will continue to play an important role off the bench for the Bears, as he's averaging 7.7 points, 2.7 assists, two rebounds in 17.7 minutes per game.

Misses second half Flagler sat the entire second half of Wednesday's matchup against Central Arkansas due to a left hand injury, John Werner of the Waco Tribune-Herald reports.

Impact Baylor coach Scott Drew described the absence as precautionary, suggesting Flagler could have played had the stakes been a bit higher (Baylor ultimately prevailed by nearly 50 points). Flagler's absence ultimately allowed L.J. Cryer to see more minutes, as he led the Bears with 20 points across 22 minutes off the bench. As long as no further issues are discovered, however, Flagler should return to a more normal role in what should be a closer game Saturday against Stanford.

Impact Flagler contributed across the board, despite playing limited minutes due to the nature of the score. The 6-3 junior was a dark horse Big 12 Player of the Year candidate to some and is looking to find his footing this season after Baylor lost their entire backcourt from their National Championship team last season.
