Plagued by foul trouble Bona totaled eight points (3-4 FG, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, one assist and one steal in 17 minutes during Thursday's 68-66 loss to Oregon. Impact Bona was forced to sit for key stretches of Thursday's loss, and UCLA performed to a minus-9 net rating during his time off the court. Bona finishes the season with a plus-8.9 rating himself, whereas UCLA was outscored by 18.6 points per 100 possessions when he sat -- a difference ranking in the 99th percentile nationwide. Foul trouble remains an issue for the sophomore, and his rim efficiency metrics declined in a vastly inferior team environment compared to last year, but Bona's free-throw shooting and minute share climbed while adapting to a far larger role. Bona's ability to protect the paint will almost certainly lead him to test NBA draft waters again this offseason, at minimum.
