Challenging for starting job According to head coach Brian Ducher, Arop (shoulder) is competing for a spot in the team's starting five for 2020-21, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports. Impact Arop has supplied double-digit minutes off the bench each of the last two seasons but is looking to make his way into the starting lineup for the first time in his career. A pair of starting spots are open following the graduations of KJ Feagin and Yanni Wetzell, so Arop will likely be competing to fill one of those starting jobs. In any event, there was no mention of Arop's offseason shoulder procedure causing any problems, so he seems likely to be in the mix when the season opens Wednesday.
