ImpactWhile Saturday's scoring output was Williams' lowest total of the calendar year, he's still posting an impressive 14.4 ppg and 7.0 rpg through 10 contests in 2023. This impressive individual totals haven't led to much team success, however, as LSU is riding a nine-game losing streak, and the fifth-year senior appears likely to be let out of impactful postseason action.

ImpactWilliams has started the last six games for LSU and has seen 28 or more minutes in all but one contest. That one contest happened to be last Wednesday against Missouri in which the sophomore mysteriously logged only two minutes. No explanation from the team has been given for that anomaly, and while Williams will be a risky fantasy asset until the situation is explained, it at least appears he may be back in the staff's good graces following a somewhat-normal workload Saturday.
