Good overall showing in exhibition Karaban put up 13 points (5-9 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), eight rebounds, four assists, one block and a steal in Monday's exhibition win over Rhode Island.

Impact Karaban had a pretty standard night at the office leading the team in minutes with 27. Karaban is in position to take a big leap in production this season with lots of pieces now gone after two straight championship seasons where he played more of a complimentary role. He is one of the best stretch four's in the country and will begin the regular season on Nov. 6 against Sacred Heart.

Returning to UConn Karaban is withdrawing from the NBA Draft and will return to UConn for the 2024-24 season, he announced on his personal X Account.

Impact Though he took part in the draft process, the 6-foot-8 forward always had the option of a return to Storrs in his tool belt and he'll take it to play out his junior season. Karaban was a dominant force both in the paint and as a sneaky three-point shooter for the NCAA Champion Huskies team this past season, averaging 13.3 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.5 assists while shooting 37.9 percent from the arc and 49.5 percent from the field. Karaban will be the only returning starter for the team in the upcoming 2024-25 season and should be the front man as UConn looks for the three-peat.
