Impact Folgueiras has caught fire off the bench for the Hawkeyes recently. He notched 14 points in the narrow win over USC, shooting 50 percent from the field, and followed that up with this 15-point showing in Eugene in which he also did work on the glass with eight rebounds, and as a passer with three assists. The junior forward could be heating up at the right time for Iowa, for which every game counts in the battle to remain on the NCAA Tournament bubble.

The junior forward has been largely efficient this season, but it was a bad time to go cold from the field against a tough Illinois team. Folgueiras will look to bounce back in another tough matchup at Purdue on Jan. 14.

Iowa has plenty of players coming off the bench who can hit threes and stretch the floor, part of what's made the Hawkeyes dangerous in their good start under first-year head coach Ben McCollum.

Impact Folgueiras played very well against Chicago State, and posted a very similar stat line to the previous game against Southeast Missouri. In his last two contests, he's 6-of-10 from beyond the arc as well. The 6-foot-10 forward has consistently improved as a three-point shooter in each year of his career, and he looks to be a dangerous weapon for the Hawkeyes.
