Two-minute backup Marrero logged zero points (0-1 FG, 0-1 3Pt) across two minutes when the Explorers won 73-65 at St. Joseph's on Sunday.

Impact As a backup option, Marrero is expected to continue not playing much. He averaged 4.7 minutes across his six games in between Dec. 28 and Jan. 20. The rate is not enough for players to be an admirable option.

Impact For whatever reason, Marrero sat out La Salle's first game of February. It is unclear if he is injured, sat out due to a coach's decision or was rested. Currently, his next opportunity to return is at St. Joseph's on Sunday.

Impact Khalil Brantley was not part of La Salle's starting lineup Tuesday. Marrero benefited from the change, especially after considering how unimpressive he played in between his two games started. Marrero averaged 1.7 points and 0.3 assists across six matchups. So though the freshman played well during his second game started, it does not indicate he will be a valued option fantasy managers can consistently benefit from.

Impact Marrero was a part of the Explorers' starting lineup Saturday. However, fantasy managers should not be surprised if they prefer different options. He was not a valued option across his three games started since November. Marrero averaged 1.7 points and 3.3 rebounds.

Impact Marrero, a 6-5 freshman, started games for the Explorers on both Nov. 12 and Nov. 15 but has since been absent entirely. The team or its reporters have not reported any type of injury in play, but Marrero has a nice break ahead to potentially recover, as La Salle doesn't take the court again until next Saturday against Binghamton.
