Delivers big performance Jihad finished with 22 points (7-14 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 7-7 FT), 10 rebounds and one block over 31 minutes during Sunday's 88-80 loss to Gonzaga. Impact Jihad topped 30 minutes for the first time this year while leading the Sun Devils with a 22 points, 10 rebound double-double. Jihad, a senior transfer from Ball State, struggled in his first two games with ASU, going scoreless in their first game while playing only 14 minutes due to foul trouble in their second. However, he broke out in a big way Sunday, performing more in line with his final season with Ball State when he posted 18.6 points and 8.0 boards per contest. If Jihad can consistently stay out of foul trouble, he could be in for a big season in Tempe.
