Slated to sit Thursday Coach Bobby Hurley indicated Wednesday that Bagley (calf) isn't expected to suit up for Thursday's game versus San Diego State, Doug Haller of The Athletic reports.
Impact Bagley has been a major source of production in the early going for Arizona State, supplying 13 points and 5.8 boards on average over the first four games. He should resume his starting duties when healthy and is considered day-to-day, so a return against Grand Canyon on Sunday doesn't seem off the table if he doesn't make a major turnaround within the next 24 hours.

Impact Martin was one of just two players in double figures for the Sun Devils, and he was perfect from inside the arc in the victory. He was held to just five points against Villanova but has played well in his other three games against weaker competition. Martin's usage rate has dropped from 29.2 percent to 22.5 this season as freshmen Josh Christopher and Marcus Bagley have been very involved in the offense.
