However, the 6-foot-5 sophomore wound up logging his second-fewest points and field-goal attempts of any game this season during Saturday's regular-season finale. Dixon-Waters finishes the 2022-23 regular season averaging 9.5 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.1 assists while playing 25.1 minutes per game across 27 appearances. It's unclear if he'll continue to move up into the starting lineup when USC plays its first game in the Pac-12 Conference Tournament on Thursday.

ImpactAccording to Ryan Kartje of the Los Angeles Times, Peterson said he did not expect to play much after waking up with a sore back Saturday morning. But after undergoing a chiropractic massage and an IV drip, he was able to participate in the 2022-23 Trojans' last game of their regular season. Peterson has not sat out any games across his five-year collegiate career, an impressive feat he is expected to continue during tournament action this March.
