Devin Askew - Quiet despite large roleAskew finished with five points (1-4 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-6 FT), three rebounds, five assists and one steal over 27 minutes during Friday's 100-81 loss to Arizona.
ImpactIn his second game back following a seven-game absence due to a foot injury, Askew returned to a normal workload but left with little to show for it. That being said, his five assists were an encouraging figure and he appears to be at full health moving forward.

Jalen Celestine - Scores 14 in lossCelestine recorded 14 points (5-9 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-, 2 FT), one rebound, one assist, one block and one steal over 24 minutes during Friday's 100-81 loss to Arizona.
ImpactCelestine has delivered 26 points on 9-for-15 shooting over his last two games since entering the starting lineup. He also started California's season opener while Jaylon Tyson was waiting for his transfer waiver to be approved, but he's currently capitalizing on an opportunity to remain in the starting five ahead of Devin Askew. Whether Askew eventually reclaims a starting spot is to be determined, but Celestine hasn't shown enough versatility to generate fantasy appeal yet regardless.

Jaylon Tyson - Stellar play continuesTyson ended Friday's 100-81 loss to Arizona with 22 points (8-16 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 5-8 FT), 10 rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal over 26 minutes.
ImpactTyson returned to the starting lineup after a one-game experiment with a 30-minute workload off the bench. While he didn't spark a victory, the junior pushed his season averages to 19.6 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.1 steals on 48.1/32.7/77.0 percent shooting in 34.2 minutes per game. Averaging 3.7 turnovers per game is a sizable blemish, but he's been an efficient creator of offense for California, yielding 0.960 team points per possession as a pick-and-roll initiator, which ranks in the 70th percentile nationwide. He uses 30.2 percent of the Golden Bears' possessions while on the court, which is the 49th largest share of any player in the country.

Fardaws Aimaq - Hamstrung in lossAimaq fouled out of Friday's 100-81 loss to Arizona after recording 10 points (4-9 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), six rebounds, three assists and one block across 20 minutes.
ImpactAimaq was unable to establish any rhythm against the physicality of Oumar Ballo and Motiejus Krivas on Friday, routinely sitting stretches of the game due to foul trouble in what was his lowest playing time all season. Foul trouble has not been an issue for the fifth-year senior, however, as he's averaging just 2.8 fouls per game through 12 contests thus far. He has been an instrumental figure in California posting top-100 marks in team offensive rebounding rate and defensive rebounding rate, while grading as a top-80 individual rebounder in both categories.

Pelle Larsson - Facilitation uptick continuesLarsson supplied 12 points (3-8 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four rebounds, seven assists and one steal over 28 minutes during Friday's 100-81 victory over California.
ImpactLarsson has been remarkably consistent as a scorer this season, hitting double-digits in all but one contest en route to 12.6 points per game this season. He's averaging 13.3 points, 4.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists in 35.5 minutes across his last four games. Posting 12-for-22 shooting from beyond the arc this season is an unsustainable clip, but his immense success on limited volume could spur additional shots. Larsson has also logged at least five assists in four of his past six contests, displaying strong chemistry with Oumar Ballo.

Motiejus Krivas - Scores easy 18 in winKrivas notched 18 points (6-7 FG, 6-6 FT), five rebounds and one block across 18 minutes during Friday's 100-81 win over California.
ImpactArizona got off to a 26-5 lead Friday, affording the luxury to split minutes between Krivas and Oumar Ballo (17 points, 11 rebounds, 21 minutes) at center. Krivas moves well for his size, and such movement combined with good offensive flow and a 7-foot-2 frame put Fardaws Aimaq in foul trouble -- leaving hapless California frontcourt depth behind. Krivas showcases good touch and rhythm, but Ballo still commands the lion's share of minutes in a mutually-exclusive pairing.

Caleb Love - Scores at willLove totaled 22 points (7-10 FG, 3-3 3Pt, 5-7 FT), four rebounds, one assist and one steal over 26 minutes during Friday's 100-81 victory over California.
ImpactLove was perfect from deep, matched his season-high seven free-throw attempts and posterized Gus Larson with a transition dunk en route to leading Arizona in scoring Friday. He has combined for just two assists over his last three games, but Love still owns a career-best 3.6:1.7 AST:TO ratio this season. Love is a known commodity as a volume bomber, although his 39.6 percent field-goal percentage is also a career high.
