Micah Peavy - 10 points off benchPeavy notched 10 points (3-6 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 4-4 FT) and one steal across 23 minutes during Monday's 73-72 win over UAPB.
ImpactPeavy continued his prominent bench role to open the 2022-23 campaign, though he didn't make much of an impact outside of his scoring against Arkansas-Pine Bluff. The junior wing played 21.1 minutes per game over 34 contests with nine starts last season, averaging career highs in points (6.1) and rebounds (4.0). While starting guard Damion Baugh (suspension) did sit out Monday, Peavy should continue to see prominent usage as a possible sixth man for TCU this year.

Chuck O'Bannon - Team-high seven reboundsO'Bannon posted 11 points (2-10 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 6-7 FT), seven rebounds, two assists, one block and two steals over 23 minutes during Monday's 73-72 victory over UAPB.
ImpactO'Bannon struggled from the floor Monday, though he made up for this by making all but one of his seven free-throw attempts. The sixth-year forward also attempted seven three-pointers after averaging four attempts per game from beyond the arc last season. Across 34 games in 2021-22, O'Bannon also registered a career-high 9.5 points and 4.2 rebounds during 24.0 minutes per contest, and he should see these numbers increase while playing a full-time starting role during his final collegiate campaign.

Emanuel Miller - Team-high 19 pointsMiller ended Monday's 73-72 win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff with 19 points (8-13 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 1-3 FT), five rebounds and one steal in 29 minutes.
ImpactMiller finished as the Horned Frogs' leading scorer while tying guard Mike Miles for the most minutes played in Monday's season opener. The 6-foot-7 senior also converted 61.5 percent of his 13 field-goal attempts, and he should continue to serve a prominent scoring role alongside fellow forward Charles O'Bannon this season.

Mike Miles - Hits late three pointer in winMiles closed Monday's 73-72 win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff with 15 points (4-8 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 6-11 FT), six rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal over 29 minutes.
ImpactMiles finished as the Horned Frogs' second-leading scorer behind forward Emanuel Miller on Monday, including a crucial three-point jumper to put TCU up 71-70 with just under one minute remaining. The 6-foot-2 guard could have finished with more points if he was able to convert more than 54.5 percent of his 11 free-throw attempts. Miles should form one of the Big 12's best backcourt duos once Damion Baugh is able to return from a suspension this season.

Damion Baugh - Sits out season openerBaugh (suspension) did not play in Monday's season-opening win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff.
ImpactBaugh was ultimately unable to play in TCU's season opener as he continues to work his way through a suspension for temporarily entering the 2022 NBA Draft and signing with an uncertified agent. During his first season with the Horned Frogs in 2021-22, the senior guard averaged 10.6 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.3 steals in 31.1 minutes across 31 games with 30 starts. With Baugh out, Micah Peavy scored 10 points off the bench behind Mike Miles and Shahada Wells on Monday. Baugh's next chance to play will come in Friday's contest against Lamar.
