Impact Johnson was last seen sporting a cast on his left wrist earlier in the week, though that was expected to come off Tuesday. The transfer from Little Rock could find some role in the rotation for the Razorbacks, but missed time during camp doesn't help his cause for big minutes out of the gate. If he's cleared, conditioning shouldn't be an issue given the location of his injury.

Impact Not much was said about Williams' absence outside of Scottie Bordelon of the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reporting that he was dressed out in warmups before spending the rest of the contest on the bench in sweats. The absence of Williams forced Arkansas to go with a much smaller lineup, and the Razorbacks were out-rebounded 42 to 28 as a result. It's unclear if this is a matter of rest leading up to the Nov. 9 opener, or if something else is potentially in play.

JD Notae - Leads Arkansas with 21 Notae led the Razorbacks with 21 points (5-14 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 7-8 FT) to go along with three rebounds across 36 minutes in Saturday's 68-60 exhibition victory over North Texas.
Impact Notae didn't have his most efficient shooting line, but a few timely three-pointers were likely what separated Arkansas from a very competitive North Texas squad. The important note here is that Notae has now started both exhibition contests after getting awarded SEC Sixth Man of the Year a season ago, but it remains to see if that pattern will continue into the regular season. High-profile Miami transfer Chris Lykes was at one point thought to command this role, but he's came off the bench -- albeit with strong scoring numbers -- in each exhibition game.

Impact Lykes has now came off the bench in both exhibition contests, though both saw him reach double-digit scoring. It seems coach Eric Musselman is going to roll with the incumbent JD Notae as the starting point guard early, but don't let this detract too much from the fantasy value of Lykes -- a high-volume scorer when healthy.

Impact Johnson transferred in-state this offseason after averaging 11.0 ppg last season with Little Rock and was likely going to see an uphill battle for minutes on a deeper, high-major school. Impact Davis earned a starting spot and ultimately started the final 14 games last season for the Razorbacks, and it appears that trend could continue despite an influx of talented transfers. He saw plenty of run in an exhibition that was too close for comfort, all while matching his best single-game scoring total from a season ago.

Impact Toney wasted little time getting down to business in his first season at Arkansas following a year in which he averaged 14.4 points and 5.9 rebounds with Pittsburgh. He started the contest and led the way in rebounding, even drawing seven personal fouls in the surprisingly-narrow victory. With the Razorbacks projected to play at a significantly faster pace the Panthers, it appears Toney will have every opportunity to increase those counting stats, which bodes well for his fantasy outlook.
