Pulls in 16 boards Vanover started and provided six points, 16 rebounds, six blocks and two assists across 34 minutes in Saturday's 69-54 victory over North Texas. Impact While Vanover was denied a waiver for immediate eligibility in the 2019-20 season, that could work out to the advantage of the Razorbacks, as the 7-foot-3 center now has three seasons of eligibility remaining. Vanover came off the bench in the season opener, posting an efficient stat line of 23 points, eight rebounds and three blocks in just 18 minutes in what amounted to a blowout, tune-up game. He rightfully took his place in the starting five Saturday, and while he only attempted four shots from the field, he was a monster on the glass while conceding scoring duties to Justin Smith, JD Notae and Desi Sills. Vanover may not always get up a ton of shots, but he'll still be a fantasy asset due to his ability to contribute in other areas.
