Impact Kessler has stepped up his play with a rise in competition during the Battle 4 Atlantis, as he's now recorded a double-double in each game of the tournament. On the season, the 7-1 center's block total has arguably been most impressive from a statistical standpoint, as Kessler has recorded at least one rejection in each game, averaging 3.2 per contest on the year -- something he simply never got the minutes to achieve during his time with the Tar Heels last season. Kessler will look to bring this same energy into the fifth-place game against Syracuse on Friday.

Impact Smith is so far living up to the hype that comes with his five-star label, as he's leading the Tigers in rebounding at 8.0 rpg while coming in second in scoring at 15.5 ppg. The 6-10 forward has also been incredible from the charity stripe, sinking 86.4 percent of his free throws after a perfect 12-for-12 outing Wednesday. His eventual disqualification from this matchup played a major role in Auburn's eventual downfall while showcasing how important the freshman is on both sides of the court.

K.D. Johnson - Leads Tigers in 2OT loss Johnson produced 27 points (7-16 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 11-16 FT), one assist and five steals over 37 minutes during Wednesday's 115-109 2OT loss to UConn.
Impact While the two overtime periods certainly helped his stat line, Johnson has now elevated to Auburn's leading scorer at 18.0 ppg. He's also been incredibly helpful in the steals category for rotisserie players, recording two or more in each of Auburn's first four contests, even when coming off the bench. While it's unclear what Bruce Pearl will do with his starting lineup moving forward, it's possible Johnson has overtaken Wendell Green for the time being, though Green did log 19 points across 33 minutes in this contest.
