ImpactLawrence logged 32 minutes in the last game and has started every contest so far this season, so the move to the bench is a bit surprising. That being said, he did connection just two of his 12 attempts from the field in the last contest, so Saturday could serve as an opportunity to shake things up.

Myles Stute - Not starting SaturdayStute is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against Austin Peay.

ImpactStute had started all nine previous games this season heading into Saturday. His transition to the bench could just be a temporary move, as head coach Jerry Stackhouse tries to get a more extensive look at some of his other role players against an easier opponent. Stute will likely reclaim his starting either next week against Hawaii or when the team begins their conference schedule Jan. 4 against Arkansas.

ImpactMann will be making his first start of the season and his first-career start for the Commodores as he enters the starting five in place of Tyrin Lawrence. The 6-6 sophomore has seen solid usage off the bench so far this year, averaging 6.2 points and 5.1 rebounds in 17.4 minutes per contest. Head coach Jerry Stackhouse could be trying to get a look at some other guys against an inferior opponent in Austin Peay, so it's possible Mann could return to coming off the bench next week when the team plays Hawaii.

Rodney Chatman - Looks set for season debutChatman (knee) is warming up ahead of Saturday's game versus Austin Peay and appears set for his season debut, Robbie Weinstein of 247Sports reports.

ImpactChatman was targeting a debut before the end of the month and has hit that goal with time to spare. Assuming he's back in action as expected, the senior guard should get to games under his belt before the calendar flips to 2022. Chatman is expected to play roughly around 15 minutes but figures to gradually increase his participation level after missing a large period of time due to a knee injury.
