Still on minutes restriction Rotroff (foot) did not take the court Saturday against Dayton, Tristan Freeman of Fansided reports. Impact Rotroff had appeared in each of the last four games for Duquesne leading up to Saturday, averaging 6.5 points and 7.0 rebounds across 18.3 minutes over that span. He's one of the few upperclassmen on a relatively inexperienced Dukes team, but Freeman did report the day before that Rotroff is still on a minutes restriction due to a foot injury. It's not perfectly clear if it's the same injury that cost him several weeks at the start of the season, though it seems likely. It's also possible the recent heavy workload is what sparked the absence. Duquesne currently doesn't have another game on the schedule until Friday vs. St. Bonaventure, so in essence, Rotroff only had to miss one game in order to get what amounts to an eight day break. Still, his status is worth checking up on prior to Friday's matchup.
