Kendall Brown - Returns to game Thursday Brown (lower body) returned to Thursday's matchup with Oklahoma and finished with seven points, two rebounds and two assists in 27 minutes of action.

Impact Brown limped to the locker room after taking a charge during the second half of Thursday's loss to Oklahoma, but he was able to return and finish the game. With the Bears now eliminated from the Big 12 Tournament, Brown and his teammates can shift their focus and start preparing for the big dance next week.

Impact Cryer was deemed a game-time decision leading up to the contest, but the presence of a boot on his right foot would seemingly rule him out of contention to make his return for the Bears' first contest of the Big 12 tournament. It remains to be seen if his status will change at all as the Bears advance, but it's certainly a loss in the scoring column with the sophomore unavailable.

Impact Akinjo led all scorers in the contest to help Baylor clinch a share of the regular season Big 12 Title with Kansas. Akinjo also locked up First Team All-Big 12 honors after averaging 13.3 points, 5.8 assists, 2.7 rebounds, 2.0 steals, and 1.3 three-pointers per contest this season. Akinjo will hope to lead Baylor to its second National Title in a row in a few weeks time. They kickoff the postseason on Thursday against Oklahoma in the Big 12 Tournament.

Jeremy Sochan - Big 12's Sixth Man Award winner Sochan was voted as the Sixth Man of the Year in the Big 12 Conference.

Impact This award was going to be a toss up between Sochan and teammate LJ Cryer. With Cryer being out much of the last month of the season due to a foot injury, that likely led the votes being swayed to Sochan here. Sochan was the second-best freshman in the Big 12 this season to only Tyrese Hunter, averaging 8.7 points and 6.1 rebounds per contest. Sochan will be a big reason why Baylor does or does not repeat as National Champions this season. LJ Cryer - Status for rest of season in flux Baylor head coach Scott Drew said Wednesday that Cryer's (foot) status will be evaluated on a game-by-game basis for the rest of the season, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.

Impact Cryer has not played in a game since Feb. 16 due to a foot injury. Even as Baylor has worked themselves into a possible No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament, it would still be a big blow if they could not have their second-leading scorer (13.5 PPG) return at some point. The further Baylor is able to advance into March, the better chance of getting back one of the best sixth men in the entire country as they look to defend their title.

Impact After possibly his best game of the season last Saturday against Kansas when he had 17 points and five rebounds, Sochan struggled against the Texas frontcourt. His teammates were able to come through, however, to keep Baylor alive in the Big 12 race. Sochan is a tough matchup for anyone and is now putting up 8.5 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 1.2 steals per contes this season. His minutes will be very high with Jonathan Tchamwa Tchatchoua done for the season.
