Langston Love - Sixth-man misses first gameLove (undisclosed) did not play in Saturday's 64-61 loss to Kansas.
ImpactLove apparently suffered the injury earlier in the week against Texas Tech, and he was spotted in street clothes prior to the contest, suggesting he would sit. The Baylor sixth-man's absence was felt, as he's the team's third-leading scorer and shooting 46.1 percent from distance on the year. Without Love, Baylor leaned more on its starters, with Miro Little catching a bit more action in a reserve capacity. Love's next chance to take the court will be Tuesday against Oklahoma.

Miro Little - Plays career-high 19 minutesLittle amassed three points (1-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT), six rebounds and one steal in 19 minutes during Saturday's 64-61 loss to Kansas.
ImpactLittle saw a career-high 19 minutes as the main bench replacement for star sixth-man Langston Love, who missed the game after rolling an ankle toward the end of Tuesday's win over Texas Tech. The freshman guard from Finland had not played more than seven minutes, nor had he scored in any game since the start of the conference season. Little made his presence known with six boards and a steal to go along with three points. His performance Saturday should be enough to earn him a little extra run until Love returns, at which point Little will likely return to his previous minimal role.

Ja'Kobe Walter - Rebounds with 17 pointsWalter closed Saturday's 64-61 loss to Kansas with 17 points (5-12 FG, 2-9 3Pt, 5-5 FT), eight rebounds, three assists and two steals in 30 minutes.
ImpactWalter came into Saturday's contest having scored in single-digits in each of the last three games and in five of nine conference games. Walter hit a couple of bunnies early, then a rare trip to the line with six minutes left in the first half that resulted in five made free throws seemed to help spur Walter's confidence after shooting just 7-for-35 (20%) over the previous four games. After scoring 15.9 points on 44.5% shooting from the field and 41.3% from three in 13 games during the non-conference slate, the standout freshman's scoring production has dipped to 12.2 points on just 31.1% shooting from the floor and 23.7% from beyond the arc in 10 Big 12 games.

Elmarko Jackson - Adds four steals off benchJackson notched one point (1-2 FT), one assist and four steals across 21 minutes during Saturday's 64-61 victory over Baylor.
ImpactFor the second time in four games, Jackson earned 20-plus minutes as he helped to fill minutes vacated due to the absence of Kevin McCullar. Unlike McCullar's previous absence, Jackson did not earn the start--that honor belonged to Nicolas Timberlake--but Jackson did provide a quality defensive effort with four steals. Jackson had started the first 15 games but has seen his role diminish since losing the starting job to talented freshman Johnny Furphy, seeing single-digits in playing time four times in the nine games since Furphy entered the starting lineup.
