ImpactThe Broncos jumped out to a 22-point lead at halftime and never looked back, so it's not too surprising to see Alston check in four minutes under his season average given the ankle troubles he had prior to the game. Boise State has almost a week until its next scheduled matchup against Fresno State, which should give Alston enough time to get over any lingering discomfort and return to form. Prior to the two-game set against Wyoming, the NBA prospect put up 19.6 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists over his previous 10 contests.

ImpactAccording to Davis Potter of the Casper Star-Tribune, Thompson "got dinged up a bit" in Monday's matchup against Boise State. He proceeded to miss warmups and be left out of the starting five, ultimately not seeing the court in the lopsided loss. Xavier DuSell drew the start in his stead, and could continue to see more run if Thompson's absence extends to Saturday's matchup against Air Force.
