No counting stats in defeat Buie produced zero points (0-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 0-2 FT) over six minutes during Monday's 82-61 loss to Iowa. Impact Buie and the Wildcats already faced a tough test against the Hawkeyes on Monday, and coach Chris Collins revealed after the game that several of the team's starters recently dealt with a flu bug, Chad Leistikow of the Des Moines Register reports. Buie wasn't specifically named as one of the fatigued players, but the bug would provide an explanation for his season-low playing time. He'll have nearly a week to rest ahead of Sunday's regular-season finale against Minnesota, so it wouldn't be surprising to see him reclaim a normal workload to close out the year. Across his eight appearances in February leading up to Monday's anomaly, Buie had averaged 15.1 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 29.4 minutes per game.
