It's part of a hot stretch of basketball for the combo guard, who has reached double figures in nine of the last 10 games. Impact Ellis had one of his most efficient games of the season, recording 18 points on just nine shot attempts as he reached double figures for a seventh consecutive game. He did it despite only logging 26 minutes as he once again dealt with foul trouble. Through eight Pac-12 contests, Ellis is averaging 14.3 points and shooting 37 percent from three.

Inefficient in first loss Ellis accumulated 14 points (4-11 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 4-6 FT), three rebounds, two assists and one steal in 35 minutes during Tuesday's 75-69 loss to Stanford.

Impact Ellis recorded his third straight game in double figures but was far from efficient, connecting on just 36 percent of his field goals while turning it over a season-high four times as USC suffered it's first loss of the season. Ellis has dealt with inconsistency after a strong start to the season but does appear to be playing better overall after failing to reach double figures during a four-game stretch in December.
