Impact Gresham has started in each of the Cougars' four games this season and his movement out of the starting lineup may just be a temporary switch as coach Kelvin Sampson looks to get some other guys in the game against a lesser opponent in Alcorn State.

Starting season opener Gresham (ankle) is starting Wednesday's season opener against Lamar.

Impact Gresham suffered an ankle injury at the end of the 2019-20 season that put him into a walking boot, but the injury won't impact his availability to begin the 2020-21 campaign. The 6-8 center started just 11 games for the Cougars last year, but he should be the favorite to start under the basket going forward.
