Cunningham doesn't have a ton of upside from a fantasy perspective unless Texas were to suffer a frontcourt injury. Right now there are just too many mouths to feed in competitive games.

Impact Along with Kai Jones and Greg Brown, Cunningham will not be available against the Wildcats. Without the trio, the Longhorns will be shorthanded at the forward and center spots. It's currently unclear when Cunningham will be able to see the court again.

Impact Cunningham was expected to take the court for the Longhorns last weekend against Baylor, but the matchup was ultimately called off. That logically means the reserve forward will be available Wednesday against Sam Houston, barring any setbacks in practice. The sophomore was limited to just five minutes last week due to a chest contusion, but the issue was never considered overly serious.

Impact Cunningham has been a key reserve for the Longhorns, averaging 22.2 mpg through the first five games of the season. He was held scoreless for his second consecutive game Wednesday, however, while also putting up a season-low five minutes. We now have a better explanation, though coach Shaka Smart believes Cunningham shouldn't be affected by it moving forward. The Longhorns have a vital Big 12 matchup coming up against Baylor on Sunday and will need all hands on deck in order to pull off the upset.
