Bryce Golden - Hobbled in second halfGolden racked up 10 points (5-9 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 0-2 FT), seven rebounds and one assist over 22 minutes during Tuesday's 66-62 1OT victory over Oklahoma.
ImpactWhile it was a relatively normal stat line for Golden, Lukas reported that he did limp to the bench in the second half, and he didn't appear to return later. The broadcast later suggested he was available, so the hope is the injury isn't anything overly serious. Another injury would be devastating for the Bulldogs, as frontcourt mate Bryce Nze has already missed the last five games with a shoulder injury. In the event Golden would have to miss time, Butler would likely go small in the frontcourt, with Ty Groce seeing time at the five. John-Michael Mulloy might also be a depth option, though he's never been a player who has consistently seen double-digit minutes. Butler has a matchup against Eastern Illinois on Saturday next up.
