Impact Waterman had been struggling significantly on the offensive end prior to Tuesday, posting just seven total points since the start of conference play on just 3-for-16 shooting from the field. While he finished second on the team in scoring Tuesday, his struggles from the field continued in shooting just 33% on 12 attempts. He did rebound to drain three from long range while going 7-for-8 from the free-throw line after not making a trip to the line in each of his previous five games. The senior played a season-high 34 minutes Tuesday, in part due to the loss from the rotation of Trevin Knell due to a foot injury. For the season, Waterman ranks fourth on BYU with 10.5 points per game and leads the team with 6.5 rebounds. However, thus far through conference play those numbers have dipped to 6.3 points and 6.3 boards per contest.
