ImpactThis is a brutal loss for the Cougars, who are already down a center in Richard Harward due to a cardiovascular issue. With no timeline for Harward's return and Baxter out for the season, BYU will have to turn to a pair of freshman in Fousseyni Traore and Atiki Ally Atiki for plenty of frontcourt minutes. Gavin Baxter - Exits with knee injuryBaxter has been ruled out for the remainder of Wednesday's game against Utah Valley due a knee injury, Jeff Call of the Deseret News reports.

ImpactBaxter went down during the first half and had to be helped off the court by his teammates before he was ultimately ruled out for the night. The extent of the injury is unknown at this time, but it was reported to be a non-contact injury to Baxter's left knee.
