Plays through cramping Hayes had 10 points (3-5 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-4 FT), one rebound, three assists and one steal over 22 minutes during Tuesday's 79-65 win over Central Connecticut State. Impact Hayes saw less than his usual workload in this contest, which Rivals.com reports was due to ongoing cramping issues. Still, he was one of three Wolfpack players in double figures as the team improved to 3-0 on the season. Freshman Terquavion Smith saw some extra point guard minutes off the bench as a result of Hayes being limited, but given the mild nature of the injury, Hayes should be set to serve as the primary ball handler moving forward.
